Hope springs eternal, but there’s still no sign of a new Ryan Adams album materializing anytime soon. In the meantime, however, Ryan’s contribution to (and appearance in) Judd Apataow’s upcoming movie “This Is 40” seems to be keeping him busy. He played a show in Los Angeles the other night with his fellow soundtrack contributors Lindsey Buckingham and Graham Parker. And below is a tantalizing tidbit from the “Conan” schedule for the Thursday (Dec. 13) show. Gentlemen, set your TiVo’s.
